Joseph Simpliciano is focused on improving the food sustainability and agriculture of Hawaiʻi’s people. He is passionate about the conservation and perpetuation of the culture. Under his leadership Simpliciano hopes to reduce homelessness and housing shortages in Oahu’s 44th district. He is an initiative-taking member of the community who has worked on numerous projects that include illegal activity and crime reduction,conservation, beach cleanups, and restoration. He believes that under the 5 Principles of the Aloha 'Āina Party, Hawai’i can thrive.
Simpliciano born and raised in Wai'anae, Hawaii and he is a descendant of Keku’iapoiwa II. He attended Wai'anae high school before joining the military where he earned bronze star, General Omar Bradley award for leadership, and was a 5 x Combat Infantryman. He is married, and the father of one girl and two boys.
